Set temperature selector control 1

 page 228) as required, but do not

turn the control below the middle po-

sition.

 Set airflow control 2 ( page 228)

as required, but do not turn the con-

trol below the second speed.

 Set the air distribution control as

shown.

 Close the center air vents.

 Close the air vents.

 Open the side air vents half-way and

direct them at the side windows.

Ventilation

This setting rapidly ventilates the vehicle

interior.

 Turn temperature selector control

1 ( page 228) to the lowest set-

ting (maximum cooling).

 Set airflow control 2 ( page 228)

as required, but do not turn the con-

trol below the second speed.

 Set air distribution control 5

 page 228) to h.

 Open as required:

 the center air vents

 the side air vents

 the ventilation vents
