3. Installation of AEM

intake system.

a. When installing the intake system, do not completely tighten the hose clamps or mounting hardware until instructed

to do so.

b. Install the 2.50” to 3.00” hose adapter on the

inlet tube and make sure it’s fully seated. Place

a #48 hose clamp on the larger diameter side of

the hose adapter and lightly secure allowing the

clamp to be rotated but not able to slip off.

c. On the smaller diameter side of the hose

adapter, place a #40 hose clamp and lightly

secure. Make sure the clamp can still be rotated.

Angle both clamps in the position as shown, this

will allow them to be tightened down in the vehicle

with ease.

d. Prepare a M8 washer on the anged M8 bolt for

the following step.

e. The hardware in step 3d will be installed as

shown in the grommet furthest from the battery.
